DETAILS
WHAT IS THIS CLUB?
The main purpose of this project is to create a platform for RCHK students to share their talent and passion for music. We decided to start this club in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic because we saw how greatly affected artists and musicians were–many concerts, clubs and bands were cancelled and people were no longer able to perform. In creating this project, we hope it will be a great opportunity for RCHK to share and perform their art to a broader audience, and to make music easily accessible again.
WHO CAN JOIN?
This is a club open to Year 7-11 students at Renaissance College Hong Kong.
S&A REQUIREMENTS
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We run this club based on seasons—each season lasts for three months, after which we open the club again for new members. S&A requirements are based on this timeline.
For a Major – 2 submissions per month for more one season
For a Minor – 1-2 submissions in one season
Please note that the number of S&A credits we can award are limited and subject to the extent of your participation. The application form above will ask you for your preference, but this does not guarantee you will get the credit. If you are accepted but not chosen for a credit, you can still choose to join for fun.—regardless of S&A, this is a great creative activity to have on your CV!

All submissions should be in video format (ie. MP4), and should be between 2-5 minutes.
Video Performances: If your performance is filmed live, please ensure that the video quality is no lower than 720p, and that the sound is clear and sufficiently loud. Your video should also show a clear view of you playing your instrument.
Non-Video Performances: If you do not wish to show your face or your playing, this is perfectly fine. Instead, please make sure you edit your audio with a suitable Creative Commons image on iMovie or otherwise so that it is in the required video format.
All covers / inspiration from other artist’s work should be referenced and given credit.
